1. What is IOREX?
Simply connect IOREX to a water supply pipe, and the water will be ionized
as it runs through. It removes rust, scales, slime and harmful microbes and
is very effective in preventing their build up.
It is the most environmentally-friendly water treatment device that can facilitate
the growth of living organisms and keep them healthy by activating water.

3. Structure of the IOREX
Working principle
- When water passes through IOREX, static electricity is generated due to
the friction between water and IOREX.
- When the static electricity is absorbed, electric charge rises.
- Core electrons are discharged and IOREX becomes electrified.
- A strong electro-static field is formed due to the movement of electro
charge and water becomes ionized as it runs through this electro static field.
4. Rust prevention principle
Rust formation
When an anode of pipe emits an electron and Fe++ ion, the electrons move toward
the cathode. Dissolved oxygen in water combines with the electron at the cathode
and forms OH-. The formula for this process is as follows.
The OH- combines with Fe++ and forms Fe(OH)2, and Fe(OH)2 creates Fe(OH)3.
Fe2O3 is generated from Fe(OH)3 through hydrolysis.
Rust prevention effect
Rust forms when the dissolved oxygen from water remains unstable (Refer to
the formula (2)). Once IOREX is installed, the dissolved oxygen combines with
the electric charge of static electricity created by IOREX and the oxygen stabilizes,
thereby preventing the unwanted chemical reaction.
Scale prevention effect
When water runs through a pipe, water is charged with anode electricity while
the pipe is charged with cathode electricity. Among the minerals contained in
water are such anode ions as Ca, Mg, Fe, and Mn and such cathode ions as SO4,
CI, and HCO3. When more than two molecules combine chemically and they form
a solid clod, which is called a scale. The static electricity generated by IOREX
combines with minerals in water, neutralizing their polarity, preventing them
from sticking to the pipe (-).
Healthy water creation effect
Water ionized by IOREX forms finer clusters by breaking apart large clusters
so that they can be more easily absorbed by life-forms. It then activates cell
function and stimulates growth in these life-forms.
5. Characteristics of IOREX
- Lifespan : more than ten years
- No decline in the water pressure : Allowable pressure:10kg/cm2
